"It's Elementary"-Check out the latest issue of the Elementary newsletter!!
EEI-Education and the Environment Initiative Curriculum- EEI is a supplemental environmental literacy curriculum which is state adopted and MUSD Board approved for use in grade 2-6 and high school Earth Science classrooms. Teachers need to go to http://www.calepa.ca.gov/Education/EEI/Curriculum/Default.htm#CurriculumUnits to obtain a password to access the Teacher Editions for the final versions of the units. At the discretion of the teacher, the EEI units can be used to replace applicable social studies and science standards lessons which are found in our current adoptions.

Harold Hughes Scholarship
Harold Hughes, former Superintendent of Manteca Unified School District, established a scholarship to assist current employees and/or their graduating dependent children as they pursue their careers in college. Mr. Hughes was affiliated with Manteca Unified School District for twenty-four years, and was Superintendent for eight years. He always placed a high regard for education with his own children, and wished to aid in the educational endeavors of Manteca Unified School District employees and their children.
Two scholarships, in the amount of $250 each, will be awarded to the most qualified recipients. One will be awarded to a current employee of Manteca Unified School District and one to a graduating senior of a current employee.
Applications must be submitted no later than Tuesday, April 4th by 3:00 PM via email to or in person to:
