MHS Fashion Show

Fashion show is right around the corner and the students have been very busy producing a spectacular show again this year at the MHS gym. 75 female models, 30 male models, 17 mini models & teachers from MHS, SHS, EU, & LHS will all be strutting on the runway.
Manteca High school fashion class is putting on a fashion show for the community on March 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. This event offers an evening for our students to walk the runway while our guests appreciate their flair as they model fashions from local vendors.
Our Annual Fashion Show is the largest and most rewarding event of the year, celebrating and featuring our students.
“It is something we always look forward to,” said Maryanne Celaya. “It’s very special for us we get to get dressed up and it makes us feel really special for the day.”
The Fashion Show is an inclusive event and offers opportunities for participation that showcases students with a variety of unique talents. The success of the Show depends on the combined efforts of students, parents, school administrations, vendors, and area businesses.
Every year, this thrilling event takes place to raise money enabling fashion students to take a trip to Los Angeles.
“I am so excited to be participating in my first fashion show this year! As a model, I am expecting a great routine out of my group,” said Daisy Hernandez.
Running a fashion show isn't as easy as it may look. It requires collaboration and organization skills for the many preparations that need to be done months in advance before the day of show.
“This is one of the things we have been working up to since the start of the year,” said Maryanne Celaya. “We love doing this and this year’s fashion show is going to be fabulous.”
“Fashion show sells out every year, so be sure to get your tickets as soon as possible,” said Angie Anaya. “We only have 900 tickets this year.”
