East Union Thought Exchange Results
Post Date: 02/07/2018 11:14 AM
This fall we invited our school communities to share their thoughts about what you like and where we can improve in terms of modernizing East Union High School's facilities. We then invited our community to review and prioritize the thoughts of others by placing stars next to the ideas that were most important to them. Our goal was to get a sense of shared values and priorities from our schools and community. Your feedback is vital to our strategic planning and our plans for the future. If you were one of the many people who participated, we thank you for taking the time to contribute your thoughts and priorities.

Sierra High School students, parents and staff. As you are aware, our first priority is for the safety and well-being of our students, their families and our staff. Sierra HS administration received information from the Manteca Police Department about a post that circulated on social media and in Northern California news media outlets early this morning. MPD determined the post was a hoax and not credible. Parents, please take this opportunity to discuss with your students the importance of reporting information to administration and following proper procedures whenever there is a perceived danger. We will continue working with the Manteca Police Department and Manteca Unified to ensure student safety for our school.

We are evaluating our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), which prioritizes how the district and school sites spend resources on: conditions of learning, pupil outcomes, school climate, culture, and engagement.
We want to know how we are doing! Thought Exchange provides a way for you to share your thoughts, and rate the thoughts of others, from March 5 to March 14. Register now to help us ensure you are invited in the exchange.
