Armando Mendoza is currently a senior at Weston Ranch High School proudly representing his school as a Student Board Member. As he is about to conclude his journey at Weston Ranch, he is honored to be serving as their ASB Treasurer for the school year. Armando has taken his role he serves in the classroom and in the community very seriously. Since a freshman, he has assisted in putting together class floats, worked community hours in the snack bar during football games, volunteered at the Stockton Asparagus Festival, and much more.

As a student-athlete inside the classroom, Armando has been a part of clubs such as Link Crew, the Volleyball Club, the Basketball Club, the California Scholarship Federation, and the Be.Vital Academy. Taking part in these clubs, Armando took on the responsibility of being president of the volleyball club, Link Crew social media manager, and earned his current position as ASB Treasurer. He has also succeeded in his AP and Honors studies throughout his time at Weston Ranch.

Apart from the classroom, Armando has been involved in two sports throughout high school, volleyball and basketball. He has been named captain one year of his two years of playing basketball. He has played two years of volleyball, including the first ever team at Weston Ranch, and will enter his third this upcoming season. His first year of volleyball the team made the playoffs for the first time ever. His second season Armando was named captain of the team and was honored to receive the “Love Of The Game” award.

Armando has described high school as a ride coming to an end that he thoroughly learned from and enjoyed. He has managed to put education first and focused all four years. After his final year of high school, he plans to attend CSU Sacramento and consider majoring in either nutrition or psychology and serve as a valuable member in his community always.
