Now is the time to plan for the
future.
A carefully selected curricular path will better prepare the student for a more
productive work life.
We encourage all students to choose the most challenging
curriculum.
The counseling department of MHS has prepared a series of program majors to
assist students in planning their educational programs.
Our counselors will be giving incoming freshmen students COIN interest inventory
tests to assist them and their parents in choosing a career path that best suits
the student and his or her future aspirations.
There will be two paths in each program major: professional and
skilled.
•
The professional path assumes that a student is preparing for a four-year
college degree and meets all entrance requirements for the
•
The skills path would prepare students for community college, trade or technical
schools, and/or entry level jobs.
