What is ParentCONNECTxp?
ParentCONNECTxp is an easy, convenient way to monitor your child’s
academic progress online, at anytime.
Through ParentCONNECTxp you can easily communicate with teachers through
e-mail, or receive automatic e-mail notification of tardies, or unexcused
absences.
You can view your child’s information after completing the registration
process.

How current is the information on ParentCONNECTxp?
The ParentCONNECTxp web site is updated every night. This will give
you the latest available information each morning.
Is there a fee to use ParentCONNECTxp?
No. ParentCONNECTxp is free to all users.
How do I access ParentCONNECTxp?
The ParentCONNECTxp web site may be accessed from any computer with
Internet access. You must use Internet Explorer or Netscape to access
the ParentCONNECTxp web site. Go to www.mantecausd.net,
click on Parent Resources, then ParentCONNECTxp, click on Login, and
login, using your assigned user ID and password.

How can I get a user ID and password to view my child’s data?
You may fill out our online Registration
Form from the MUSD web site. Go to www.mantecausd.net, click
on Parent Resources, ParentCONNECTxp, and click on Register button.

How many user ID’s can my family request?
One login account may be issued to each family. Both parents can
use the same login account. If parents are separated or divorced
each parent may request a login account, provided there are no court
orders or legal restrictions prohibiting access to the parent. If
a child lives with a guardian, the guardian must have legal right
to access the child’s record.
What if I do not have a computer at home?
ParentCONNECTxp may be accessed from the library, community center,
work, school, church, or any place that has Internet access.
What if I forget my password?
Please contact the ParentCONNECTxp Administrator. You will be asked
to provide some information. Your password will then be emailed
to you. No passwords will be given out over the phone.

How do I change my password?
Go to the settings tab and change your password. Make your new
password eight characters in length. You may use alpha and/or numeric
characters, but do not use symbols or spaces. Please note that you
cannot change your user ID. Only your password can be changed.
My e-mail address has changed. Do I need to call the office?
No. Log in to ParentCONNECT, and click on Settings. Type your new
e-mail address in the box below “Primary E-mail Address”.
Please send an e-mail to the ParentCONNECTxp Administrator as well
so that we may update school records.
What do I do if I get “locked” out of my ParentCONNECTxp
account?
If you have three failed attempts inputting your user name and
password, the system will lock and automatically reset itself after
15 minutes. There is no need to contact anyone about the problem.
What can I do if my child’s information is incorrect?
If the grade book information is incorrect, please contact your
child's teacher. If any other data is incorrect, you may use the
e-mail link to notify the school ParentCONNECTxp contact.
What precautions have been taken to ensure data security?
The standard security alert features will encrypt data while it
goes across the network. These are the same features used in the
banking industry.
What prevents a stranger from getting a user ID to view my child’s
data?
When requesting a user ID and password, the parent/guardian fills
in specific student data that is emailed to the District Office.
The school/District will verify the parent/guardian relationship
and the right to access the student’s record, based on the
data provided by the parent/guardian. This is the same protocol
currently used for requesting student records.
How do I receive e-mail alerts of discipline incidents, unexcused
absences, tardies, or failing scores?
Go to the settings tab and mark your preferences.
I received an e-mail alert on my student’s attendance. I need
clarification.

I clicked on the grades tab, but I only see last quarter’s classes
and grades, how do I find current grades?
The grades tab refers to the last report card grades. If you
wish to view assignment grades, click on Assignments, and then
click on Schedule. You will see the student's schedule and cumulative
grades. To view all of the assignments for a particular class,
click on the cumulative grade for that class.
Is the GPA (Grade Point Average) and Class rank based on the weighted
GPA (Grade Point Average)?
How do I log off of ParentCONNECT?
How do I obtain “Official” school records?
The information provided on ParentCONNECTxp is not to be considered
official school records. To obtain Official School Records, please
contact the school registrar, release form must be signed at the
school site before transcripts can be released. Please allow 24
– 48 hours for processing.
I have a student that is not on my original account. How do I add
the student to my account?
When you register your student you have the ability to list several
students:
Please enter information for each of the students you would like
to register.
Please list each student you wish to register as follows:

Name>, <Student School>, <Grade Level>
Example:
Victoria Bright, Manteca High School, 9
Daniel Bright, Manteca High School, 12
Log back on to ParentConnect and register for the student you
now have the need to add to your account
