Professional education remains one of the highest district priorities based upon the belief that the strength of the district lies in the quality of its teachers. Opportunities for professional growth include collaborative afternoons each week, teacher release training sessions, intersession and summer workshops, professional conferences, and observations of experienced teachers. MUSD supports the Learning to Teach Continuum and the California Standards for the Teaching Profession by offering staff development for teachers in every stage of their careers.
