Students may upon occasion lose or forget their lunch money.  In an effort to provide students with healthy lunch throughout the school day, Manteca Unified School District has established a charge policy.  (BP 3551)

  • Only lunch meals may be charged.

  • Balances may be checked and paid on

  • Charge meals do not apply to students upon approval of Free and Reduced Meal Benefits.

  • New applicants must be submitted annually within the first 30 days of the new school year.

  • Free and Reduced meal approval does not forgive prior accrued meal charges.

  • High School Meals may not be charged.

  • Does not apply to Community Eligibility sites.

Pink negative balance notification letters will be sent home from the Nutrition Education Department for all meals charged.  Automated phone calls and email will be sent as additional reminders.

Payment Methods:

District Office:  Payments can be made on student lunch accounts in the Nutrition Education Office during office hours from 8:30AM – 4:00PM.

Online:  Payments can be made at any time by logging into

Cafeteria:  Payments can be made in your school cafeteria.

School Office:  Presale envelopes are available in the school site office.

Credit and Debit Cards:  Accepted at the Nutrition Education office.
