A note from the school site principal, Mr. Borgeson:
This morning before school began, smoke was detected in the Annex office. The fire department was called to investigate. Students were kept out of classrooms until the cause could be detected. After investigation by the fire department in cooperation with PG & E, it was determined that students would not be allowed back into the classrooms.
At that time, Annex students were walked over to the main site under direct supervision. Parents or guardians will be allowed to check Annex students out of school by coming to the Main Site Cafeteria. Emergency cards will be checked to verify who is picking each student up. All students are safe and will be provided for as long as they are in school. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation.
