Come Join Hispanic Youth Leadership Council in the quad during lunch on Wednesday, March 21 for Music, Dancing Caballo Dorado, Grito contest, winner gets a $10 gift card. Take Snapchat pictures or video with Day of the Dead characters & dress up in your Hispanic clothing, Hispanic floral shirt, Hispanic flag shirt or jeans, boots and button up shirt! Lets honor our heritage and celebrate unity! Lets all come together and have some fun!  

High School Musical

Don't miss Sierra High's production of High School Musical! Tickets are on sale now for April 6, 7, 8 and 12. All performances start promptly at 7pm (performance on April 8 starts at noon). Tickets are $5 if purchased in advance and $10 at the door. See Mrs. Puett to purchase tickets or for more details.

Leadership Applications

Applications for leadership are now being accepted. Being involved is a critical part of the high school experience. If you are someone who wants to "make things happen" then this is the class to join. Come to Room 51 to get an application.

Volunteers Needed - GECAC

Are you looking for community service hours or a way to mentor other students? Give Every Child A Chance is seeking high schoolers interested in tutoring younger students. You get to pick the your site and hours.  Applications are available in the Counseling Center. See your counselor with any questions or view the flyer HERE.

Manteca Morning Rotary Scholarship

Applying for scholarships? Manteca Morning Rotary is offering a scholarship to hardworking seniors. Submit a Sierra High School scholarship application to Kristy Angove by Monday, April 9. And don't forget to check the Scholarship Bulletin on our school website for other available scholarships.

Women of Woodbridge Scholarship

The Women of Woodbridge $1,000 Scholarship is available to seniors attending a junior college, trade school or technical school after graduation. Pick up an application in the Counseling Center today to meet the April 20 deadline.

Pappas Foundation Scholarship

Are you attending MJC? The Pappas Foundation Scholarship offers up to $3,000 per school year to a student attending MJC. Application is due April 25. Pick up an application in the Counseling Center today.

ERWC English 4

Juniors, want to make sure that you are considered "ready for college level English" by your college or junior college? Sign up for ERWC English 4 to be sure you don't have to enroll in an Early Start English program during the summer before college. Check your email or see Mrs. Rosendin for more information. 


Sierra High Library Site Committee

Want to be part of the decision-making process for library improvements? If you are interested in being on the SHS Library Site Committee, see Mrs. Hein in the library for more info.  Meetings will be held from 2:45-3:30pm to accommodate student schedules.


GECAC Scholarship

Have you volunteered with Give Every Child A Chance in the past 4 years of high school? Apply for the GECAC scholarship before Sunday, April 1. Application available in the Counseling Center or visit the scholarship bulletin on the Sierra website.

Brock Elliott PTO Scholarship

The Brock Elliott PTO scholarship is now available to seniors who graduated from Brock Elliott elementary. Go to the Sierra website Counseling page to obtain the scholarship application or come to the Counseling Center.

Sober Grad - Las Casuelas Drive-Thru Dinner
