Saturday School

The next Saturday School will be held on __________ from 8-12.  Doors will be locked at 8:00am - no exceptions!  Please bring homework or something to read.

2019-2020 Class Schedules 

Attention students: All bills & fines must be paid in full and all textbooks and laptops/chargers must be returned BEFORE orientation in order to receive a class schedule for the 2019-2020 school year! For administration fines, please contact Terra Garcia, Account Clerk. Payment is cash only or credit/debit card on our school website sierrahs.myschoolcentral.com. For library fines, please see your student email for a daily notification or contact Samantha Hein, LMT.

Birthday Message

Do you want to celebrate someone’s birthday on the Sierra High Marquee ? NOW IS YOUR CHANCE! Go see Trinity Johnson in the office to pay the $5 to receive your receipt. After you pay click on the link HERE to submit your birthday message. 

Counseling & Academics

Academic Decathlon

There will be an informational meeting for Academic Decathlon on Wednesday, May 22 during lunch, in room 18. If you like competition, trivia, or a challenge, come to the meeting to learn more. There is no GPA requirement to be a part of ACADECA.

Final Waivers

Lobo Gold and Silver students, who plan to waive a final, may now pick up a final waiver form from Mrs. Anne Montanio in the Counseling Center. All final waivers are due Thursday, May 23 by 2:45 PM. No late final waiver submissions will be accepted, so get your application submitted ASAP!

Fall 2018 Introduction to Art and Advanced Art students: Your artwork from last term that went to the Art Show is ready for you to pick up. Please come to room 58 AFTER SCHOOL ONLY to get your fabulous artwork!!!

Seniors

Final Transcripts

Seniors: It’s time to order your final transcripts to be sent to your college of choice, junior colleges, universities & trade schools. All final transcript requests must be made through your Parchment account. Click the "Order" button and then, instead of selecting “Send Now,” select “Hold for Grades”. Once final grades have posted in early June, your transcript will be sent out.

Attention Seniors: Want to have access to your transcript after you graduate? If you set-up your Parchment account using your student email, go to your dashboard under account settings and add your personal email since, once you graduate, your student email will be deactivated. If you have any questions please see Paula in the registration office.

Job Opportunity

Interested in a part time job this summer as a security guard?  You have to be 18, have your own transportation,  and go through a free training course offered May 24 to get your California issued Guard Card.  The class is free! See Mr. Bennett in the counseling office for more info.

College Acceptance Letters

Seniors:  Have you received a college acceptance letter?  We are adding the Class of 2019 to the College Wall in the Counseling Center.  If you have applied to a college, university or trade school, bring in your acceptance letter or show your email to Anne Montanio in the Counseling Center.  It’s your time to shine!

Sports

Cross Country

Anyone interested in running on next year's boys & girls Cross Country teams: There will be a meeting om Wednesday, May 22 after school in room 1. If you have any questions or can't make it, stop by room 18. 

Tennis

Any SHS girls or boys interested in playing tennis next year: There will be a very important meeting about Summer Practices & Camps. Meeting will be held on Thursday, May 23 at lunch in Coach Duke's room (Rm. 29)
