Animal rescue club is hosting a pet contest we still have until May 5. Theme is "Then vs. Now" please email pictures, your name and pets name to firstname.lastname@example.org. We have posters around school or on our Instagram Shs_animalrescue club. Your pet will be featured on our Instagram!

Counseling & Academics
ARE YOU INTERESTED IN ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN?
The Summer Programs Office at UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design is now accepting applications for the embARC Summer Design Academy. This four-week program, held on the UC Berkeley campus, offers juniors and seniors an opportunity to immerse themselves in design studio culture and the college experience, develop a design portfolio to use for college applications, and earn an official UC Berkeley transcript. On-campus housing is available. Learn more about the program, tuition and deadlines at https://ced.berkeley.edu/academics/summer-programs/embarc-design-academy/. The application deadline is May 1.
Interested in space and astronomy? Dr. Grimes will be offering an astronomy course in fall 2019. Students will use telescopes to learn about the night sky, and astronomy. If interested please see Dr. Grimes in room 17 or your counselor.
Attention students! Your transcript has been updated now that term 2 semester 1 grades final. To see your current transcript, don't forget to log into your Parchment.com account, click on the picture of the mini transcript, then click the "Update" button at the bottom. Allow one business day then you will be able to see your most recent transcript 24/7.
Early Grad Forms
Attention current juniors! If you are interested in graduating early in December of your senior year, now is the time to see your counselor and have that conversation. You must still meet all normal graduation requirements. Early Grad Forms are due to your counselor by the end of April so they can review to see if you are eligible!
Not sure what you want to do after graduation? Interested in working or starting a career in the warehousing or transportation industry? Sign up in the Counseling Center to attend the Wednesday, May 1 Job Fair at the District office. Transportation is provided but space is limited. Sign up now.
College Acceptance Letters
Seniors: Have you received a college acceptance letter? We are adding the Class of 2019 to the College Wall in the Counseling Center. If you have applied to a college, university or trade school, bring in your acceptance letter or show your email to Anne Montanio in the Counseling Center. It’s your time to shine!
