Driving
Starting today Fri. Aug. 15th anyone turning left out of the student parking lot from the gate with the sign posted "No left hand turn" will be cited by our SRO. All drivers must obey all laws.

Personnel Items
STUDENTS,
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY PERSONAL ITEMS SUCH AS PURSES, BACKPACKS, BOOKS ETC UN-ATTENDED. ALWAYS HAVE A FRIEND WATCH YOUR ITEMS WHEN LEAVING THEM EITHER IN THE QUAD AREA OR IN THE OVER HANG AREA. UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ITEMS AND NO ONE ELSE.
Dress Code
The the dress code of SHS will be enforced. No pajama type clothing, slippers, bare midriffs, pants should fit to the waist and should not have rips or tears, no oversized white shirts down to the knees, strapless, spaghetti straps or halter tops and shorts and skirts should not be above your hand when at your sides, colors are also enforced. No hats unless they are SHS issued.
There should not be any cameras, CD players, electronic items or any other disruptive devices on the school campus.
Phones are only allowed for use before and after school. Phones may not be used during brunches or lunches and are not to be used to phone home. Your phones will be taken away if you are seen using them anytime during school hours. If you need to phone home, you are to use the phone in the Attendance Office with permission from a Teacher or Administration Personnel.
Please make your days a pleasant one here at SHS.
Yearbooks
This year's yearbook will be ALL COLOR! Save $5 by purchasing yours online at www.jostensyearbooks.com before Sept. 5th. The online opening price is $65, which is the lowest price of the year. Sorry, we have to pay more to publish the book, so prices have to go up. If you don't have access to the internet, or need some help ordering, stop by room 1 and Mrs. Rosendin would be glad to help you.
Be sure to get in the yearbook this year! We'll be in the quad during lunch over the next couple weeks. Look for the cameras!
Saturday School
The next Saturday School will be held on August 23rd from 8 to 12. Doors will be locked at 8, so do not be late. Dress code is enforced, along with no electronic items or any other disruptive devices. Phones are to be turned off.
FHA-HERO Officer
Are you currently or have been previously enrolled in a Home Economics class? Well, if you have and are interested in becoming a leader, want to meet new people, and be involved in fun activities, become an FHA-HERO Officer! Come by room 54 or 35 to pick up an application Mon. Aug. 18th, through Wed. Aug. 20th. Applications are due Fri. Aug. 22nd.
Work Detail
Work Detail is now available after school from 2:30-4:30 to clear up Saturday Schools. It is on a first come, first served basis. Sign up in the Attendance Offfice in the morning.
Rush Days
Everyone can help make a FULL COLOR yearbook a reality. Look for the blue truck in the quad during Rush Days. Help yearbook fill it up with plastic bottles and cans. We'll raise enough money even if we have to do it 5 cents at a time.

CSF Enrollment
Enrollment opens on Mon. Aug. 18th for the fall 2008 semester. Please bring a copy of your transcripts and the $8 application fee to room 17. Enrollment closes the last day of August.
Drama Students
Attention all Drama Students enrolled in Intermediate or Advanced Drama, this spring; you must audition for Ms. Frase before the end of Fall Term. To schedule an audition time please stop by Ms. Frase's office in room 63 (the theatre) during brunch, lunch, or after school.

Girls Basketball
All girl's interested in playing basketball for the 2008-2009 season and are not playing a fall sport, there will be a meeting in room #46 Thurs. Aug. 21st at 2:45 sharp.
