Grounds

  • Since students spend most of their day at school, they need a pest free learning environment. The Healthy Schools Act (HSA) establishes your right to know about the pesticides that are applied at your school. To be informed of the pesticides applied at your school, please download our Manteca USD mobile application found in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, by searching "Manteca USD." Once you've downloaded the application, select your preferred school site(s) and allow for push notifications. You may also visit your student's school office to learn how to be notified of pesticide use.

PESTICIDE USAGE (SB2260, Education Code 48980.3) Every six months an Asbestos District representative completes the sixmonth AHERA inspection. The District typically does asbestos abatement each year. If you would like to obtain more information about asbestos abatement at your school site, call the Maintenance Department at 825-3200, Ext.50711.
