Parent Advisory Committee 2021-2022

  • The district is excited to continue the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) and seeking parent/guardian representatives to serve as true partners in education by exercising a role on the committee. Committee members will help review and advise the district on matters pertaining to our budget and funding, assist in the planning of operational, learning, and business plans, and much more.

We are looking for parent/guardian representatives from all school communities, to advocate on behalf of our diverse population of students.

Applicants will be selected through an application process and appointed by a committee formed by the Community Outreach and Student Achievement & School Accountability Offices using the criteria listed below.
    • Be a parent/guardian of a Manteca Unified School District Student.
    • Be a parent of a student identified for services funded by the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), as determined by the state or the California Dashboard: Free & Reduced Meal Program Participation, English Learner, Foster Youth, Student with disabilities, and/or Homeless.
    • Understand the importance of parent participation and involvement and be willing to commit to a minimum of one meeting per month.
The committee will meet from 5:30PM-6:30PM on 10/19. Meeting dates for the remainder of the 2021-22 school year will be determined by the committee. Selected members of the Parent Advisory Committee will be notified on September 27.
