• Extended School Year Program

    The Extended School Year program (ESY) is an in-person offering through MUSD’s Special Education Dept. and intended for students with an identified IEP (individualized education plan) needing to address regression or recoupmentData is used to determine if the student experiences a loss of knowledge or skills over a school break that are unable to be recouped in a reasonable amount of time. 

    ESY will follow the same guidance for in-person learning as identified in our COVID-19 Safety Plan: www.mantecausd.net/csp. All staff and students are required to wear a face covering, complete a daily self-screening, and physical distance.  

    Enrollment procedure: Once ESY referrals and data are received in the Dept. of Special Education, registration information will be delivered to the family. Classes will be built depending on the number of students registered.  student walking down a hallway

    Transportation: The Special Education Dept. will coordinate transportation services for students if deemed necessary by their IEP. 

    Program location: Golden West (specialized programs may attend other school sites depending on student need) 

    Program dates: Monday-Friday, June 2June 29
