• covid19 dashboard
  • Early in the pandemic, MUSD worked to implement a COVID-19 dashboard that tracked all confirmed cases of COVID-19 in our school communities. As individual school closures were recommended by public health based on total percentage of confirmed cases within an individual school, MUSD released a public-facing dashboard to maintain full transparency during a time of worry and uncertainty.

Since the state of California made an announcement changing the state’s masking policy, moved away from a close contact tracing procedure to a group notification practice, and no longer advises school closures based on positive case percentages, the District will no longer maintain a public-facing COVID-19 dashboard. MUSD will, however, continue to group trace among students, close contact trace among staff, and communicate swiftly when necessary to help protect the health of students and staff.
