What is WASC?
"The Commission encourages school improvement through a process of continuing evaluation and recognizes institutions through granting accreditation to the schools." —ACS WASC Commission Website
Where are we in the Process?
We are writing our Self-Study report! In 2024, the WASC visiting committee will visit to help us improve. Every year, the six-year Focus On Learning Cycle continues.
Share your voice! Use the surveys below to rate our progress and provide input. Sign up to serve on an in-person committee. Thank you for helping us Focus on Learning.

2023-2024 WASC Self-Study Document
In order to communicate clearly with staff, students, and the community, we are posting this document as a work in progress. A key part of this process is getting stakeholder input.
See the WASC self study draft: So far, we have just written the introduction and chapter 1—where we are in progress to meeting our goals. This document was last updated on January 17, 2023
We have included the entire official WASC template document so that you can see what the rest of the report will address. This document will be updated throughout the year.
Numbers are added to paragraphs to make it easier to reference content when you comment. If you have a suggestion, please email our WASC coordinator, Peter Gale.

Staff Survey Results 9-30-22 to 10-7-22
In order to accurately begin drafting the first chapter of our WASC self-study, or the Progress Report, we asked faculty a series of questions about significant changes on campus since our last accreditation.
We also asked them to evaluate how we are doing in the critical areas of need identified in the last mid-cycle report. This survey below is an aggregated summary of faculty responses.
