5 MUSD schools will offer free breakfast and lunch for ALL students this year!
Nutrition Education has identified five school sites for the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) in the 2019-20 school year: French Camp, Lincoln, Manteca Day, Calla High School, and New Vision High School.
All students attending a CEP site will be eligible for free breakfast and lunch regardless of income. To qualify, all students must complete the CEP Survey! For these five schools, this replaces the existant free and reduced school lunch application.
School Meal Program - Senate Bill 138 - requires Manteca USD to apply for the Community Eligibility Provision and provide free universal breakfast and lunch service for qualifying schools. Also, CEP sites will no longer have negative student meal debt!
My child attends 1 of these 5 CEP school sites - what do I do?
Complete the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Alternative Income Form or please complete the paper form provided by your school site and return to your school, so that each and every student can receive free breakfast and lunch.
All students must complete the form, even those previously approved for free or reduced lunch.
This will help every student be well prepared to learn every day!
My child does not attend a CEP school site - what do I do?
Students at all other schools can apply for Free or Reduced Lunch online.
Note: If you qualify for free or reduced lunch, and you have students at both a CEP site and a non-CEP site, you must complete both forms! Example: I have a child at French Camp School (CEP), and another child at Weston Ranch High School (non-CEP), I need to complete both forms in order for both students to receive their free or reduced lunch benefit.
How do I pay for my child's lunch?
Parents can make payments for their child's lunch through our new mobile payments platform, MyPaymentsPlus. MyPaymentsPlus also allows parents to monitor what their child is eating, even if they are not making payments through the platform.
Sign up for your free account now! You will only be asked for credit card information if you wish to make payments for your child's meals through the platform. All of your money from the previous platform, PayPams, has been transferred to MyPaymentsPlus. Read our flyer in English or Spanish to learn more!
