State of the District
Celebrating school successes and strategic planning, MUSD closed out the 2022-2023 school year with our annual special board meeting: The State of the District. Hosted in the Lathrop High gym, all of Manteca Unified’s schools and departments came together to reflect on the past year and set their sights on the upcoming year. They went all out decorating their displays where they presented their strategic plans for every student working to achieve grade level standards, feeling safe and being supported to realize individual success.
Board members, District representatives, and the public toured the displays, talked to admin and staff, and collected informational pamphlets and fun swag while the Nutrition Education staff and BE. Cuisine provided refreshments.
In addition to presentations on the 2023-24 Budget and the LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan), Superintendent Dr. Clark Burke presented the "Smart Actions & Decision: State of the District 2022-2023" publication (below) to the board and audience.
