Boundary Adjustments

title banner: Boundry Adjustments

Impacted families will have received an official notice from Manteca Unified via USPS mail and email notifying them of boundary adjustments and their workshop location.

Attendance boundary adjustments are a mitigation tool used to help the District respond to changes in where children and families are currently residing. Some neighborhoods are growing while others are seeing fewer school-aged children. Adjusting boundaries is sometimes necessary to prevent overcrowding in some schools and under-enrollment in others, helping to ensure that each school has the staff, capacity, and resources it needs to serve students. Boundary adjustments are one of our mitigation tools to balance enrollment and have been utilized regularly since 2019.

Before making a final recommendation to the Board on proposed attendance boundary adjustments, we invite families who received notice to a community input session. We want to answer your questions, hear your thoughts, and dialogue together.

We Want to Hear From You!

Whether you attended a workshop or weren’t able to join us, we welcome your input! Please use the form below to share your questions, thoughts, or feedback.
