Jessica Munoz, named 2024-25 Manteca Unified School Counselor of the Year, is a proud alumna of East Union High School. As the first in her family to attend college, Jessica’s resilience fuels her passion for guiding students through challenges. 

Goal-Setting is a prime opportunity to strengthen the partnership between students, teachers, and families. By coming together to reflect on learning progress and form new goals to accomplish by May, students will be better set up to achieve proficiency (mastering their California state learning standards for their grade level) by the end of the school year.

As 8th-grade students eagerly prepare for their next step into high school, Manteca Unified School District is here to help families navigate this highly anticipated transition. With several important events coming up, parents and students can expect key dates that will help them take this next step with confidence.  

How Manteca Unified is enhancing Transitional Kindergarten (TK)  and Kindergarten instruction with standards-based strategies.

At Manteca Unified School District (MUSD), over 1,300 classified staff contribute to student success every day. This year, our very own David Halla was recognized as an MUSD Classified Employee of the Year and the San Joaquin County Office of Education Employee of the Year in the Transportation category for his positive impact on students’ lives and the district as a whole.

Sierra High School sophomores represented MUSD at the 2024 World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions, held at Yale University.
