Access Q Parent Connect

All families can access Q Parent Connect through the Manteca USD Mobile App! Simply click the “Parent Connection” icon in the home screen or click here! First time logging in? Use the email address used to register your child and select “Forgot Password”. For further assistance, phone your child’s school office.

 

Open the Re-enrollment Packet

After logging in, click “Online Re-Enrollment” in the menu on the right. First, click on your name under Contacts to update your contact information. Then, tap on each student profile under Students to complete re-enrollment for every child in the household.

 

Complete Student Updates

In this section you will confirm your address, emergency contacts, and student updates—such as your child’s medications or transportation eligibility. You will also find the 25-26 Parent Handbook for your review. Complete & sign all updates, then click “return” in the top left menu.

 

Complete Household Forms

Under Household Forms to Complete you’ll access the Student and School Benefit Form, which ensures your child’s school receives critical funding to support all students. You may also qualify your family for additional benefits through these forms!

We ask all families to fill out the Student and School Benefits Form (SSBF) once each year. By completing the form, you are helping ensure your child’s school receives the necessary resources for your child and their classmates. You may also qualify your family for additional benefits through this form!

Q: What is the Student & School Benefits Form?

A: We ask all families to fill out the Student and School Benefits Form (SSBF) once each year. The form asks a few short questions about your child and household. By completing the form, you are helping ensure your child’s school receives the necessary resources for your child and their classmates. You may also qualify your family for additional benefits through this form!

Q: How could this form Benefit Your Child and Family

A: By completing the form, you may qualify for many significant benefits, including reduced PG&E, Comcast internet bills, waived college application and/or SAT/ACT testing fees.

Once you submit the form, you can contact our Nutrition Education Department to confirm your eligibility for benefits by calling (209) 858-0778 during business hours.

Q: Why does MUSD need this information?

A: While all students receive free meals under California’s Universal Meals Program, school districts are still required to document how many students would have qualified for free or reduced lunch. This information affects how state and federal funds are distributed to your child’s school, as school needs are determined by the needs of their students.

Q: Should I still fill out the form if my household is high-income?

A: Yes! Even if your family does not qualify for benefits based on income, by filling out the form, you are helping ensure your child’s school receives appropriate funding from state and federal sources. With appropriate funding, schools can secure the services, staff, and educational programs students need - which will benefit your child and their classmates!

Q: What is Q Parent Connection?

A: Q Parent Connection is an online platform available for all MUSD families to access their student(s) attendance, class schedule, grades, and request progress emails from teachers among many other features. 

Q: Do I have Q Parent Connection Account?

A1: You may already have access to this information as Q Parent Connection has been in place for the past six years. However, if you were not able to give an email address when you registered your child, you may not be able to access Q Parent Connection. Please see FAQ #3. 

A2: You may already have provided your email address but did not login. If you believe you have provided an email address you can do a password reset at https://.q.musd.net/parent and click on the phrase “Need Your Login information”. 

Q: Do I need to be set up on Q Parent Connection right away?

A: Yes. Right now, you need to supply your email address to your school site to add to your profile and create a password on Q Parent Connection.  

To receive their high school schedule, returning students will need to complete the online information prior to the orientation dates at the beginning of the next school year (more details will be available when high school orientation information is mailed home).  

Q: What do I need to do once I have shared my email address and received access for my child(ren) to Q Parent Connection?

A: You are ready to update your information or fill out the forms normally available titled “Online First Day Packet” for K-8 or high school “Orientation” for your returning student online during the open window of time.
