Manteca High Earned the 2024 California Distinguished School Award 

Manteca High School has been honored with the 2024 California Distinguished School Award! This prestigious recognition is a testament to the dedication and excellence of MHS students, staff, and school community.

 

The California Distinguished Schools Award celebrates schools that truly make a difference in students’ lives. Manteca High’s inclusion in this program highlights its commitment to innovation, talent, and success in supporting student growth and achievements.

 

Selected through a rigorous process by the California Department of Education, MHS stood out for their academic growth in English Language Arts (ELA), math, and reduced suspension rates. In just one year, they made a staggering 61.8-point increase in ELA, going from 54.7 points below the state standard in 2022 to 7.1 points above in 2023!

Our educators have done an incredible job evolving their teaching practices to better meet the needs of today’s students.
