Expanded Learning Program
Learning doesn't only happen during school hours!
In MUSD, "Expanded Learning" is the term we use to describe free programs that take place before school, after school, and during student breaks.
These programs or "clubs" are hosted at each elementary school and focus on helping children grow academically, socially, and emotionally through hands-on, engaging learning activities.
Programs have a specific theme, such as "Beginning Art" or "Chess Club," so that students can select programs that interest them. The activities of each club also complement learning lessons from the regular school day!
