Arts Integration

Arts Integration is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. Students engage in a creative process which connects learning in an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both.

 

Arts Integration will be piloted in grades 1-3 in five schools in the 24-25 school year: August Knodt, Golden West, French Camp, Mossdale, and Shasta.

Schools that effectively Integrate the arts into core subjects have shown significant progress in closing the achievement gap
