Innovation and Improvement
The Department of Innovation and Improvement focuses on MUSD's goals of Grade Level Standards, Safety, and Emerging Students. Using the Cycle of Refinement, we will gather feedback from our educational partners to review and assess current systems to make sure they align with our goals. We will also identify areas where new systems are needed to meet district goals and create them with input from our partners.
Multi Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) TK-12
Multi-tiered systems of supports, known as MTSS, are a framework meant to support students in achieving their best possible academic and social-emotional outcomes. MTSS models include tiers of instructional and other kinds of support, so that all students can make progress by getting the kind of education that meets their needs.
Site Based Supports
Instructional Specialist (Teachers on Special Assignment)
