National Suicide Prevention Lifeline

 The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, along with a variety of prevention and crisis resources.

Starting July 16, 2022, 988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

The 24-hour, toll-free, confidential hotline provides phone, webchat, and text options available to military veterans in crisis and their families and friends. It provides options for deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
