Socio-Emotional and Mental Wellness Resource Center
The Manteca Unified School District works to promote the healthy socio-emotional development of all students, as well as assist students to overcome mental health-related barriers to learning by connecting to them to available resources within MUSD and in the community.
We are here to help. MUSD’s dedicated Suicide Prevention Committee and our Health Services team partner with Valley Community Counseling of San Joaquin County (VCC) to place counselors at every school site. Because of the District’s partnership with VCC, these services are free to students and families. If you would like VCC counseling support, please call your school office or communicate with your teacher. View the list of school office phone numbers.
Counselors and psychologists are accessible to students via Teams and have 1:1 sessions via live Teams calls for students in independent study or online programs.
If you or someone you know is in immediate danger of hurting themselves or others, call 911.
